HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR 2009

Dear pupils of 6 Faith,

I hope yesterday's CNY celebration was a memorable one for you. It was for me because I saw so many happy faces during recess! Alas, who could forget the blackout that happened during the concert. The pupils in the hall became restless and impatient but backstage, so many little hearts were broken as they were all eager to put up their performance.I hope the electrician will be able to fix the problem so that we could all enjoy the concert. But most importantly, the performers will be given a chance to showcase their talents and at the same time reap the success of their efforts. So, please applaud loudly during the concert, as nothing is sweeter to a performer than the applause of an appreciative audience.

Anyway, please view this very inspirational video clip, which the teachers received from Ms Chin. The strength of the human spirit is amazing, so get ready to be inspired!

Hello pupils!

I'm sure all of you are excited to go for the camp. I hope the experience you'll share with your friends and teachers will be something you'll remember fondly. The camp will be a good platform for teachers and pupils to bond, so make use of the time there to get to know your classmates and teachers better.

Do remember to pack your bag according to the list provided.

In a nutshell, do bring all the compulsory items and any personal medication.

Have fun but don't forget to take care of yourselves...especially where hygiene is concerned because your parents will not be around to remind you to brush your teeth after meals and to shower at least twice a day. Be considerate and pack all your dirty ( and smelly clothes!) in a separate plastic bag at the end of each day. We do not want your room mates to suffer!

Lastly, for your own safety, do listen to all instructions given.
